Cinco De Mayo is coming up, and if you don’t have plans yet, this festival is a great way to celebrate!

This outdoor festival and concert is completely free and great for families. There will be lots of activities your kids will enjoy, like games, prizes and a special kids zone where they can play and have fun. For the parents, there’s live musical performances all day from talented local musicians. You’ll get to enjoy unique styles of music that you don’t hear everyday, like Mariachi, Tejano and Latin Pop. You’ll also get to sample some delicious, authentic Mexican eats from local food vendors.

This festival is a great way to celebrate this important Mexican holiday, so don’t miss it!

Empty Bowls Food and Shopping Event 0 26

Too many people in our community go hungry. Tarrant Area Food Bank is trying to change that and make sure everyone’s bowl is full with this fantastic charity event.

Local artisans will be selling more than 4,000 handcrafted bowls at this event. Over 40 local restaurants will also be there to serve up bowls of delicious food. If that’s not enough entertainment for you, there’s also going to be a silent auction, a raffle, and live demonstrations from talented woodturners and glassblowers!

General admission tickets are $65, or $75 at the door. You can also purchase special VIP tickets that get you reserved seats and early admission for $150.

When: May 1st, 2019 from 11 AM to 1 PM

Fort Worth Beer Festival 0 45

Lots of wine and beer festivals have been popping up this spring, but we aren’t complaining!

More than fifteen breweries will be at this Beer Festival, so you’ll get a chance to try over thirty different craft beers. Your $30 dollar tasting ticket benefits local charities and comes with twelve free samples. If your free samples don’t hit the spot, you can purchase extra beer or frozen drinks at the beer garden. To sop up all the alcohol, you can head over to one of the food trucks and grab a street taco.

There will also be an adult playground, live DJ music, and a drawing for a trip to San Diego at this event. It’s going to be tons of fun, so we hope to see you there!
