Interested in Japanese cultural traditions?
The Fort Worth Botanical Garden is hosting a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony presentation, also known as Sado, Chanoyu or Ocha in Japanese March 17th, 2018.
Japanese Tea ceremonies involve ceremonial preparation and presentation of Matcha. Matcha is a powdered green tea made from the tips of shade-grown Camellia Sinensis Plant, (Camellia Sinensis Plant) it is then cooked, stemmed, and deveined and stone-ground into a fine green powder.
Tickets are $30 per person and include a reserved seat to watch the tea ceremony performance and a question and sample session.
