The All Western Parade is coming to downtown Fort Worth on January 19th!

This annual tradition is sure to put a smile on your face! Come see lots of amazing horses and other work animals as they pull antique wagons, floats, and more. You won’t find any modern cars or floats with running motors in this parade!

Make sure you get to the parade route early to secure a good spot—over 100,000 people are expected to be there! You can also reserve seats in advance for as little as $15.

When: Saturday, January 19th at 11:00 AM

The Wizard of Oz Musical 0 30

The Wizard of Oz, a classic musical that your whole family will love, is coming here to Fort Worth in May!

The Casa Mañana Theatre is putting on this special production. You’ll get to see all of your favorite songs from the movie, including “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and “If I Only Had a Brain,” performed live by a talented cast. This musical also features new music from Andrew Lloyd Webber. Even if you’ve seen the movie a bunch of times, there’s still plenty of reasons to go see this exciting new adaptation!

Shows start at 7:00 PM on weekdays. Afternoon shows are available on weekends. Tickets start at $25, but you can get some of the best seats in the house for $43.

Empty Bowls Food and Shopping Event 0 27

Too many people in our community go hungry. Tarrant Area Food Bank is trying to change that and make sure everyone’s bowl is full with this fantastic charity event.

Local artisans will be selling more than 4,000 handcrafted bowls at this event. Over 40 local restaurants will also be there to serve up bowls of delicious food. If that’s not enough entertainment for you, there’s also going to be a silent auction, a raffle, and live demonstrations from talented woodturners and glassblowers!

General admission tickets are $65, or $75 at the door. You can also purchase special VIP tickets that get you reserved seats and early admission for $150.

When: May 1st, 2019 from 11 AM to 1 PM
